Be warned the sparks can be loud at times. Unfortunately I was hoping to be further along this weekend then I was but it seems like Maxwell’s law kept reminding me that if something can go wrong it will… Not even limited to the machine, but a headlight in my car went and then I my riding mower starter went just to name a few. Anyway! The EDM started making a decent size hole in the grade 8 bolt I used and very quickly I will add. One of the main issues I had was keeping up with the arc. There is definitely a science behind it. I will have to adjust the z height to drop faster. All in all it was a productive weekend and overall I a m happy with the EDM machine. We have come a long way now it’s time to find tune.
